Since I like you to get the “behind the scenes” — meaning see the emails we can get on a Saturday, check out the email I just got from my FNC colleague traveling with Senator Obama: From: Kapp, Bonney To: Sent: Sat Jul 26 13:08:42 2008 Subject: Obama wheels up for USA 7 hours, 49 minutes Heathrow to Chicago’s Midway airport. Obama came back before the flight took off to tell us it was a great trip and to thank us for hanging in. “Party hard,” he advised, standing next to a cart with beer and wine on it. When someone asked if that’s what he was going to do up front, he smiled and said he planned on going to sleep. Obama left Chicago last Thursday for Andrews Air Force Base to fly to Kuwait. Over the course of his 9 day trip, Obama visited 8 countries. Share
