Eighth graders having sex at Texas Middle School

Students at David Crockett Middle school have had something to be shocked by recently. A pair of eighth grade students, a boy and a girl participated in a inappropriate sexual act last week. The incident has come to light again because the principal of the school sent a letter home Friday, which enraged several parents. Parents questioned why they were not told sooner. The principal reported that the students, a boy and a girl, made inappropriate sexual contact with each other while other students watched. That was a shock for Tom Ray, who has a 14-year-old daughter. “To me there are a host of problems and I think it starts at home,” Ray said. Principal Corliss Rogers said both students received disciplinary action, and an investigation had occurred. “I would expect the parent to at least have a call from the principal if not the day at least the next morning. I don’t believe there’s any excuse why that wouldn’t happen,” Ray
