Chaka and Michael Lloyd-Jones have run the kiosk-style Cafe Bones at Leichhardt in the inner-west for the past two years. Last night, after a nail-biting wait to hear what their future held, the Lloyd-Joneses were told they could continue serving up pupaccinos to the pampered dog set of Sydney. Leichhardt councillors voted 6-4 for the pair to keep their lease on the council-owned property, rejecting a rent offer 500 per cent higher than the existing rate when the current arrangement expires in October.
