Liberal polling shows Howard as being 'old and dishonest'.I don't give a shit about the old person jibe. For a man of his age Howard is exceptionally fit. He could walk the hell out of me and probably most people 20 years younger. This man power walks something like an hour each day. All credit it to him.But he is dishonest. The man is a poll whore. Sure on some things he takes a risk then spends our money changing our gut reaction on it - sometimes failing (Iraq for example). But by and large, according to his old Chief of Staff, the main focus of Howard was staying politically ahead. Not governing well. Not laying down infrastructure to support future generations (although he claimed the GST and the waterfront did that - yay let's illegally sack thousands of workers in a massive conspiracy then take credit for it). Yes he's old(er). But it's the dishonest part that gets me. And the sheer damage he's done to Australian society. Sure people are better off, but there's a strong
