Were the New York Mets so desperate for a quality defensive catcher that they were willing to give up a top young talent, or did Lastings Milledge wear out his welcome with a negative personality? Unfortunately, Mets fans may never get an answer to that question. But regardless, Milledge is no longer a part of the team that once deemed him untouchable. Instead, he's on his was way to Washington in exchange for Ryan Church and Brian Schneider. Scott Kazmir version II? Although it's early, some fans are already comparing the two trades. I am almost at a loss for words with this trade. It's hard to take Omar Minaya seriously when he gives away talent for nothing.
