CECT G100 - first Chinese 3G (TD-SCDMA) phone |

Well, it started happening - the phones equipped with China 3G compatible radios are here. The first such device made by CECT has finally been announced and is called the G100. Aside from the fast data transfer support, the G100 also packs such features as voice-recognition, media player, high resolution camera (we’re not sure about the megapixel count) and the ultra-long standby battery. Apparently, CECT finds the G100 to be the real breakthrough device, although we’re not actually sure what’s so special about it except the TD-SCDMA support.
