Carter and Clinton's 'New Baptist Covenant' excludes pro-gay groups |

Leaders of an upcoming Baptist unity celebration have denied two Baptist groups an official role in the event because they support gay rights. The decision was made by organizers of the "Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant," endorsed by former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.
