Bush Plans to Discredit GAO Report On Missed Iraq Goals |

Apparently it wasn't enough that the Petraeus Report that so many of our soldiers have been killed or maimed for over the last year to provide the 'surge' isn't even going to be written by General Petraeus, but instead white-washed by the White House. The administration is now beginning a campaign to undermine the credibility of the Iraq report produced by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). For those who are unfamiliar, the GAO is the research and investigation arm of the Congress. It is largely recognized as one of the last non-partisan institutions left in Washington.
