Buddy the Monkey greeted participants in Saturday's straw poll from a window perch in the RV of his owner, Linda Honnicutt of Asheville, N.C. Usually the 14-year-old Black-Capped Capuchin has free rein of the RV, but with all the crowds today, Honnicutt hooked him up to a tether from the ceiling. The cage is for when he gets really wild and needs a time out, she said of her diapered friend. Even while the parking lot was just beginning to fill, Honnicutt was busy e-mailing a newsletter to a list of some 4,600 Ron Paul supporters. The self-described Warrior Granny has been traveling across the country in her red, white and blue trailer she decorates and re-decorates.
