What if Jesus was stopped at the border?Thought-provoking comedy in SomervilleAriel White, Correspondent BostonNOWFar from the ego stroking self love orgy that makes up the typical one man show, Abie Philbin Bowman decided he would play an irreverent, hilarious, and downright blasphemous son of God in Jesus: The Guantanamo Years. The idea for his show struck Bowman after he wondered if Jesus himself could get past United States Immigration since he is a Middle Eastern man with a beard on a mission from God who is prepared to die as a religious martyr.
