On the horizon today for the Red Sox is a split-squad doubleheader. One squad will be heading over to Ft. Lauderdale to take on the Baltimore Orioles while the other squad will stay at home to try and clinch the Mayor’s Cup against the Minnesota Twins. The tilt with the Orioles contest will be available on MLB.tv (subscription) while the Twins game will be on the Twins Radio Network (also available on mlb.com through the game day audio subscription). If you’re a member of the Red Sox Nation fan club, you get a free subscription to the game day audio. With 12 days until the Red Sox depart for Japan, the center field race is turning into a one-horse race. Coco Crisp had been out with a sore groin and now he will be out probably through the weekend after undergoing a root canal yesterday. Manager Terry Francona spoke about the situation. It's not an issue but we're trying to make a decision, and it doesn't make it easier, that's for sure, Francona said. But
