Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello are teaming up for a thirteen-date tour that starts September 22nd in Duluth, Georgia, and wraps October 9th in Rochester, New York (complete dates after the jump). Dylan will headline the outing to promote his upcoming 51-song compilation Dylan, with Costello as main support. These gigs are confirmed to be Costello’s first solo performances in twelve years and will also feature opener Amos Lee. According to reports, police arrested five Vans Warped tour concertgoers who channeled Woodstock ‘99 and allegedly burned portable toilets and threw rocks after the traveling punk-rock summer fest’s stop at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington. A gun that once belonged to Elvis Presley was stolen from a Graceland exhibit during last week’s celebrations marking the thirtieth anniversary of the King’s death.
