NHL players have been prominent sponsoring charity golf tournaments in the off-season. Scott Gomez had one in Alaska and last week Jason Spezza ran his second annual Celebrity Classic near Ottawa. The headliner was Hall of Famer Bobby Orr, who happens to be Spezza's agent.The Senators contingent included Chris Phillips, Mike Fisher, Brian McGrattan and Chris Kelly. Now that Mike Milbury has been signed by NBC as a studio analyst, Never At A-Loss-For-A-Good-Line-Mike explains his choice of new TV vocation this way: "The first thing is you only have to work 25 days out of the year," says Mike. "It's kind of like stealing money."He has another good quip about his dozen years running the Islanders. "I managed to survive that long against long odds. It was an interesting time.
