It's too premature for an announcement but fans can expect the first American-based NHL outdoor game in Buffalo in 2007-08. Sid Crosby and the Penguins would provide the opposition. San Jose's new Sharks logo is cartoonish and relates to a younger crowd. It's a positive change. Dale Hunter's OHL London Knights keep on churning out quality NHL prospects. In addition to producing First Overall pick in this year's Draft, Patrick Kane, the Knights also help lesser prospects into the bigs.Exhibit A is 20-year-old David Meckler, who scored 38 goals in 67 games with London last season. He's in negotiations with the Kings and could prove a surprise asset.Speaking of Kane, Blackhawks' owner, Bill Wirtz, chuckles when people suggest that Kane is too small. "I remember them saying the same thing about our Stan Mikita when he came to Chicago in 1958," says Wirtz.
