However, there are plenty of question marks surrounding their ability to be a legitimate Big Ten contender. Will the momentum from their Outback Bowl upset over Tennessee carry over? WHY THEY'LL WIN Penn State is full of wide receivers and linebackers. The latter, well, we're used to that, hence the whole "Linebacker U" thing. Dan Connor is a monster who will pick up where Paul Posluszny left off. That's a lot to do, but he'll do it. He's flanked by outside linebackers Sean Lee and Tyrell Sales. While Sales didn't start any games last year, there's no denying his physical talent. Lee posted 90 tackles, third on the team, in 2006. Connor will be a favorite for the Bednarik Award entering the season. He was runner-up to Posluszny for the award last year, and he could actually top his line from 2006 [ Full article ] |
