The BBC announced that it will be making a return to the game development business. In the past, BBC has had mixed results with their gaming ventures, so it will be interesting to find out what they have up their sleeves. In the past couple of years, the BBC has only been involved with some casual web-based games, but it looks like they are back in the big side of the business again. Broadcaster’s new media boss to unveil new games strategy at Edinburgh Interactive Festival, says report The BBC plans to ‘beef up’ its strategy for gaming and return to games development, according to a report in Scotland on Sunday, with the first word about the corporation’s plans to be unveiled at next week’s Edinburgh Interactive Festival.
