If not, check them out on your next visit to the bookstore. I can honestly say these books were the reason I only called my pediatrician's office twice in my baby's first year. Well, that and a relatively healthy baby.If you read my bio, you probably learned of my slight propensity towards hypochondria. I blame it solely on my parents, who left a 700-page medical reference book on the coffee table one weekend for my reading pleasure. Soon after my foray into medical literature, I was diagnosing myself with subdural hematomas at age six.I have an overactive imagination, to say the least.As you can imagine, I don't do well with Google searches or books that introduce the most serious diagnosis from the get-go. I don't need to know that my slight headache could be a serious aneurysm and I need to RUN
