Avery Vital To Rangers Success

I feel Sean Avery is going to be an important piece to this Rangers puzzle. Teams that win Stanley Cups are successful puzzles, and you have to have all the right pieces that affect the team in different ways.When Glen Sather made the deal for Sean last year, he knew he was getting a player that not many teams have. He is abrasive, yet he is talented, and he can play in many different situations. The Rangers needed someone that had that grit and Avery provided it. You have to give Sean's presence its due when the Rangers turned their season around last year. And while it was not just Sean, he certainly helped and became a fan favorite. That being said, keeping his presence on the team and in the lineup is very important because of what he can provide. Having him for a full year, along with the additions that they made and the positive way they ended the season are all good signs for the team heading into this season.
