Arlington mom who cried rape is found guilty in death

By NATHANIEL JONES FORT WORTH -- A 37-year-old mother of three, who falsely cried rape when her husband caught her with another man, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter Friday for recklessly causing her husband to kill the lover.The woman, Tracy Roberson, wept as state District Judge Louis Sturns ordered her bail revoked and sent her to the Tarrant County Jail for the weekend.Roberson's husband, Darrell Roberson, was in the courtroom Friday for the first time during the four-day trial. Last year, a grand jury declined to indict him on a murder charge for killing Devin LaSalle, a 32-year-old father of three.Because spouses cannot be compelled to testify against each other, jurors did not hear Darrell Roberson's account of the Dec. 11, 2006, killing. He faces no criminal charges.The jury deliberated about 12 hours over Thursday and Friday.LaSalle's family cried and hugged one another after the verdict was read, but they declined to speak to the media.The jury is to return Monday
