Another Phoenix police officer slain

Shot in face by Illegal alien deported last year In the third horrific case this year of a young Phoenix police officer losing his life, Officer Nick Erfle, 33, a married father of two, was gunned down after stopping jaywalker. Erfle was an eight-year veteran of the force. Erik Jovani Martinez was in this country illegally. Martinez’s mother has had custody of his three children for the past 3 years after reporting her son and the children’s mother as drug users. According to the morning paper, Martinez, 22, was a gang member since age 13, with a history of drug abuse.. He was convicted of theft in 2004 and served time in prison in 2006. Immigration officials confirmed he had been deported in March 2006. After shooting the officer, Martinez hijacked a driver whom he held as a hsotage at gunpoint. Matinez was later killed by police. Channel 12 reports that Martinez had a post up on MySpace.com. Just another case of “migrants” coming to this country
