Who needs laundry detergent? It's expensive and is probably not great for the environment. That's why we're pretty excited about the new Haier WasH2O washing machine. It's the first detergent-free washer, needing no soap at all to get your clothes clean. It instead breaks water molecules into OH- and H=+ ions components. OH- acts as the cleaning agent by attracting and retaining stains while the H+ ions sterilizes the clothes. Yeah, I don't really get it either, but if they claim it works I'm just going to go ahead and believe them. Could this be the end of the laundry detergent industry as we know it? Well, probably not for a while, as this is the first model that has this trick, and it's coming out in France along for $957. Let's see this tech in the States, please. — Adam Frucci Wash2O, via Oh Gizmo! [ Full article ] |
