Yankee third basemen A-Rod has hit his 500th homer (finally) in the first inning of the Yankee-Royals game. Kyle Davies gave up the homerun, a three run shot, after having given up a single to Jeter and walked Abreu. He followed it up by allowing a double to Matsui and a triple to Cano.
