What a great weekend we had at our MS Bike Tour! We're all pretty tired around the Gleason household as Caryn rode in the event, and Sadie was the de facto mayor of Rider Village for the weekend. Thus today, I decided to browse the Internet for interesting research to write about for this slow Monday. I found something pretty interesting, to me at least. A new study was published on the Internet prior to being printed last month in the Archives of Neurology. The study only followed 30 patients with MS, but I think it is valuable information for a number of reasons. First, I think we will all be happy to note that the study included relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) patients as well as secondary-progressive (SPMS). I know many have been frustrated over the years that drugs don't seem to be aimed at the progressive forms of the disease.
