"A day trip to the Island of Kos (Istankoy) from Bodrum Yuksel Soylemez The New Anatolian / Ankara 11 August 2007 We have been 'Bodrumlu', in and around for the last two decades, until we finally settled in Gundogan (Farilya Beldesi) some 15 years ago for nearly half a year every year. Our Bodrum discovery in the early 70's made us fall in love with its unique natural charm and green beauty starting with Bodrum town proper. Bodrum in the 70's had an intimate and genuine atmosphere of a quiet village.
