A brief story of Fr. Yacoub's Church |

On February 6, 2008, I felt a great call to restore this building (built by Fr. Yacoub in 1932, occupied by foreign armies during the civil war 1975-1990) and make it the first church dedicated to the new blessed (his beatification was in June 22, 2008) Fr. Yacoub the Cappuccin. I followed the same principles I had while building the Lamb of God Shrine: No debts, no advertisements, no penny from my pocket or the church. Let the Glory of God appear, not ours. I got the OK from the mother superior of the Sisters of the Cross Order. The first step I did was to call my friends and tell them about my desire. Many friends promised to help, but I received no penny from them. Thus, I went up to the mountain on February 29, 2008 and cried out to Fr. Yacoub: "What's your problem Fr. Yacoub? Do you want to build your first church or what? You got to help me."On the next day, Fr. Yacoub sent a man with a burning desire withinn to do something.
