'A Bigger Bang' Anticipation At Feverish Pitch In Advance Of Montenegro Concert |

The Republic of Montenegro, a small country on the Adriatic Sea, is not accustomed to large events. This all changed on July 9, when the republic's Jaz beach played host to the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang Tour - the biggest selling concert tour of all time. In advance of the concert, the entire region was wild in anticipation, with people journeying from the surrounding countries of Croatia, Italy, Bosnia and Albania, as well as from all over Montenegro. Up to 55,000 people are expected to attend the concert, with dozens planning to watch from the decks of yachts. Responding to many Montenegrins' disbelief that the concert would actually take place, the daily Republika boasted prior to the concert on its front page, "Yes, it is true!" Rajko Kuljaca, mayor of the town of Budva, is calling the concert "the biggest global promotion ever" for Montenegro and the small resort town of Budva.?
