76% of mothers will sacrifice purse, phone, or chocolate, for a “Me Zone” |

A recent survey, by Glade Flameless Candles of all people, suggests that over three-quarters of mums would sacrifice their favourite purse, mobile phone, or chocolate bar, if it meant that they could have a few moments alone in their “Me Zone”. The “Me Zone” is not only about creating time for mothers, but also a place for them to enjoy it (hence the candles, presumably). The survey also revealed: One-third of mothers find the only place they get to themselves is the bathroom. The most favoured characteristics of a “Me Zone” are pleasant scents (56%) and the glow of candles (40%) 64% would turn their “Me Zone” into a “We Zone” to share with family and friends, whilst one in three would share the space with their pet. “A ‘Me Zone’ is something we fantasize about while staring at the back end of a grocery cart,” says the author of the new book, Finding Grace When You Can’t Even Find Clean [ Full article ] |
