Yesterday I spoke about how this project was about making more people aware of Fairtrade. As I said earlier on in this project, half of any funds I raise will go to charities working in the developing world, however the remaining amount will be used for an enviromental project. This will take the form of a new eco friendly green fairtrader store. I want to design and build a store thatcan offer everything my current store does but with virtually zero emmissions of CO2. There are a growing number of new ideas appearing on the market which will help me achieve this. I want to see if it is possible to change an existing store to a new kind of Zero Store and by doing so find out the most cost effective way of applying all the new science without a huge cost. I also want to see if it is possible to reduce my standard costs. The costs involved in lighting, cooking and heating.
