7/31: Fixed -- Smileys and Icons Not Showing Up for Some AIM Users

Filed under: AIM General, Expressions Factory, AIM Buddy BlogHi buddies -- we got some reports this morning of some AIM users not seeing their graphic smileys and Buddy Icons in IMs (they were just seeing missing images where the smileys and icons should have been): The team did some investigation and traced the problem to a new server that was installed early this morning as part of a regular maintenance install. The problem, which affected only the screen names on that server, has been fixed. If you're still getting missing icons or smileys, try signing out of AIM, then signing back in.Sorry for any inconvenience, and let us know if you're still experiencing problems.Thanks to Junior S for giving us a heads-up in the comments, and also for the screenshot (which I clipped out and used above).
