I will leave the room and come back seconds later to find her gone. She's not really gone, but crouched down behind a chair, trying with all her might not to laugh out loud. It's cute the first hundred or so times, but pretending not to find her can get tiresome after a while. I play along because for some reason kids think hiding from adults is the best thing ever.There are some times when hiding isn't funny. Like in a crowded department store when, for a split second, you are convinced somebody has just absconded with your kid. Ellie has done this and found out pretty quickly that she's the only one who thinks that is funny.Another bad place for hiding games is on the school bus.
