Filed under: High schoolHolley Mangold's older brother was a football star. After a successful college career at Ohio State, he went on to an NFL career as a center with the New York Jets. Now, even though many are still resistant to the idea, Holley is following in her brother's footsteps. The 315-pound 17-year-old, who can bench press 265 pounds and squat 525 pounds, will see playing time on the Alter High School offensive line. While she acknowledges that "it's really tough," the senior certainly seems to have what it takes to play -- and do well. I can only imagine the kind of taunting Holley's had to put up with -- both because of her size, and the fact that she's chosen to be the only girl on her school's team (and probably the only girl in any of the area football programs).
