One of my favorite hobbies is seeing what other film students are making. I was surfing youtube the other day when I found some great visual effects reels that I want to share with you. Here are 3 Great Visual Effect Videos from the Vancouver Film School. The best part of these visual effect reels is that they give you a basic breakdown of how they did the effects at the end of the video. That way the reels are not only fun to watch, we can learn from them as well. Sadly I am not much a film producer or director as of yet. I have done a bit of camera work and written a couple of scripts but special effects are something new.
