New Horton Hears a Who trailer

There’s a new theatrical trailer for the 20th Century Fox adaptation of Dr. Seuss’ classic book Horton Hears a Who. The movie stars Jim Carrey as Horton the elephant, an elephant that one day discovers a whole colony of tiny creatures whose entire world is encased in a small speck on the end of a flower. Where the teaser was moderately funny but basically focused on Carrey and Steve Carrel, who voices the mayor of the small town, riffing away, this one..well…focuses on Carrey and Carrel riffing away. But we get more footage from the film and meet some of the other characters who will drive the movie’s story along. It’s a good trailer that builds on the start that the teaser built. Considering this movie can easily be a disaster - one need only imagine how this would look if they tried to do it live action - I think the CG animation helps it along. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TufLYkk24ec
