It seems likely that Ms. Shaheen will run. Early polls shows Shaheen ahead by 20+ points. Sen. Sununu has been an amazing Senator from a purple state. The Club for Growth is backing Sen. Sununu. Sen. Sununu is solid on judges and pro-growth legislation. Sununu also has a good working relationship with most of the Senate and keeps a lower profile than many. Altogether, he's a model Senator and a great one for Republicans to have from the northeast. That being said, Rs in the northeast should help Sen. Sununu as much as possible. This race will be very hard for him to win. And along with CO and VA, it is looking like Rs would lose at least 3 Senate seats if the election were held today. [ Full article ] |
