Special Note: Up-to-the-minute coverage of the vote on Politico.com.Considering how difficult it is for the professional pundits to handicap today's Iowa caucuses, it is no wonder that us amateurs (by comparison) have shrunk from the task. However, I just saw a rather interesting and insightful article posted by Kim Hagen on the Associated Content website which provoked some thoughts of my own.Hagen predicts that Barack Obama will win on the Democratic side with 34% of the vote, followed by John Edwards with 32%, and Hillary Clinton with 30%. She cites Hillary's condescending manner as a limiting factor, and implies it is so ingrained into her psyche that she cannot overcome it.On the Republican side, Hagen predicts that Mitt Romney will narrowly edge out Mike Huckabee, with Rudy Giuliani finishing a close third (despite the fact that he's passed up Iowa altogether).
