Powwow Time: Obama and Clinton Smoke the Peace Pipe? |

MS-NBC is reporting that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are having a sit-down at the Clinton residence in DC this evening. (Link here.) With Sen. Clinton signaling her intentions today to get fully behind the Obama juggernaut, it’s interesting that the two of them chose this evening to get together, out of the media spotlight. What does this portend for those who are championing Clinton’s bid for the VP slot on his ticket? Nothing, I think. Since the first sniffs of a potential “dream ticket” emerged, my take has been that two strong personalities like Obama and Clinton couldn’t comfortably co-exist on the same ticket. And then, there’s the “Bill factor”. For the life of me, I don’t understand how Obama / Clinton can happen. There’s a lot of baggage.
