Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) has announced his endorsement of GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani, according to The Hill. Perry, despite holding more conservative views on many social issues, said he chose to endorse Giuliani after meeting with the former mayor. I've looked him in the eye I've asked him the hard questions, says Perry. Gov. Perry seemed most concerned about Giuliani's more moderate stance on abortion, but was reassured after Giuliani promised to nominate strict constructionist judges.
