MLB Power Rankings Boston Red Sox It’s embarrassing how much pitching this team has. That league-leading 3.71 ERA — including a 2.74 mark from the bullpen — makes them hard to beat. Still, GM Theo Epstein might play around before the trade deadline. As it is, the Sox are probably going to have to send either Kason Gabbard or the just-back Jon Lester down to the minors once Curt Schilling returns to the rotation. Nice problem to have.
