LA should be safely in the Red column in the 2008 Presidential race. I can't see any of the Democratic candidates getting over 40%, especially if Gov. Jindal takes an active role. The Democratic Party utterly failed to mount a credible candidate in Saturday's gubernatorial election. Boasso (D) and Georges (I) were both self-funded candidates who switched from being Republicans only after Jindal had already locked up the full support of the state party. Foster Campbell, the only real Democrat in the race, snared 12% of the vote. The moonbat who ran on "Free Edwin Edwards" was next in line with 5,000 votes. The most nervous politician in Louisiana lives in Washington, D.C.: Mary Landrieu. Euphoria for Jindal's ethics reform agenda should be kicking in about the time of her primary. Keep reading . . .
