Katherine Heigl wins an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series No surprise that The Sopranos took home the Emmy for best Drama Series, while newcomer 30 Rock, took top prize as Best Comedy Series. I was so happy for Katherine Heigl, who won for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
