After Niki Tsongas (D) won the recent Democratic primary in Massachusetts s 5th congressional district, she was viewed as a heavy favorite to take over the seat being vacated by former Rep. Marty Meehan (D-MA). However, a new SurveyUSA poll finds Tsongas in a closer-than-expected race against Jim Ogonowski (R). Tsongas currently leads 51% to 41%. [ Full article ] |
