Simply amazing. Before the Kevin Garnett deal, the Boston Celtics were given 100:1 odds in Vegas for the 2007-2008 NBA Championship. That put them far behind in the East and to put that in perspective, the LA Clippers are 45:1 odds in the WEST!!! Well, a day after the Garnett deal, the Celtics are easily the favorites in the East at 5:1 to win the entire NBA. Amazing considering that the Cavaliers (who have the exact same team) are 14:1, the Pistons are 11:1, the Heat are 14:1 and the Nets are 40:1. Wow. Apparently Danny Ainge is well liked in Vegas right now. No word if Tim Donaghy was involved in making these odds. Odds to win the 2007-08 NBA Championship Atlanta Hawks 100/1 Boston Celtics 5/1 Charlotte Bobcats 100/1 Chicago Bulls 12/1 Cleveland Cavaliers 14/1 Dallas Mavericks 7/2 Denver Nuggets 22/1 Detroit Pistons 11/1 Golden State Warriors 35/1 Houston Rockets 15/1 Indiana Pacers 100/1 Los Angeles Clippers 45/1 Los Angeles Lakers 25/1 Memphis Grizzlies 100/1 Miami [ Full article ] |
