1000Keyboards is a site for readers and writers of short stories. This is a community where you can submit your short story to the community and receive feedback, similar to a YouTube for authors. All submissions must be between 800 and 1000 words, to ensure that all stories on the site are indeed considered short stories. There are no privacy settings–all submissions are open to the public. Your profile displays all of your stories, as well as those writers you’re watching, and the stories you’ve added to your short list. The watchlist and shortlist are ways to follow others and have immediate access to the stories you most enjoy. Finding a short story to read is easy enough: you can filter your search query by most recent, top viewed, etc. or browse by category, such as comedy, drama or horror.
