Well, we’re up to step 10. This week we’re talking about blog directories. They link to a list of directories but I’m not gonna go by theirs. The list 9rules and NewsNow at the top of the list and we’ve already did those. Another one I’m gonna tell you about is the Paid Directory List. It breaks the directories down by page rank. One of the ways to boost your page rank is to get links from higher ranking sites. The highest ranking one on the list is the yahoo directory and it’s a PR 8. Unfortunately it’s 300 bucks to add your link. Of course, I didn’t add mine there but there are some affordable ones at pr 4 and 5 level. Another important directory to add your blog to is DMOZ. DMOZ is the Open Directory Project and their about page describes it as “…the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors.” The thing with this
