John McCain’s Vice-Presidential nominee isn’t heavy enough to be a lightweight |

Why on earth John McCain would choose a running mate (I will still refuse to use her name, not even in the “tags”) that isn’t heavy enough to be a lightweight is beyond comprehension. I mean, he could have chosen Texas Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson who would have made a serious, formidable opponent and she is a women. And a strong candidate with a great voice for the conservative movement. I am a left-leaning liberal and I am certainly pleased at the McCain flub. He also could have chosen former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge who would have brought this concept of “gravitas” to a campaign that has become a joke to the “McCain/What’s her name” team. The only worse choice McCain could have made and the one I was really pulling for is Senator Joe Lieberman. But his choice of “what’s her name” is a big enough joke.
