Zika funding delay could slow efforts to fight virus

The Obama administration had requested $1.9 billion to fight the Zika virus, and the Senate has voted to begin talks with the House to fund the measures. CDC Director Thomas Frieden says epidemics can spread within a matter of days and weeks, so the sooner Congress acts, the better.
