World's first test-tube puppies are born after IVF
The world's first puppies have been conceived using IVF — the same test-tube method that leads to the births of tens of thousands of human babies every year. In the future, the science hopes to be able to genetically manipulate animals, for instance by removing disease-causing genes, and perhaps to someday help save endangered species.
