What might happen to US Olympic swimmers questioned over Rio robbery?

01:02

Two U.S. Olympic swimmers believed to have been out with fellow swimmer Ryan Lochte during an alleged robbery in Rio de Janeiro were taken off a plane scheduled to leave Rio and questioned by Brazilian authorities. MSNBC chief legal correspondent Ari Melber tells TODAY that Lochte, now in the U.S., likely won’t need to return to Brazil unless there are “some kind of charges,” but his fellow swimmers who are still in Brazil are subject to questioning and potential charges for false or misleading statements.
