I swapped my books out and when I shut my locker, Mandy appeared. "Hey," She swayed back and forth on her heels. "Hey." I spoke starting to walk toward the door. "So... You know that Bio worksheet we got? Well I totally dont understand... Do you think you could help me?" Mandy asked as we pushed the door open. We started walking and caught up behind Demi and Selena. "Uh, sure... but aren't you like uber smart, why do you need- Oh... yeah of course I'll help you..." I tripped over my words, realizing how obvious it was. She likes me... my cheeks burned, but I just smiled at her. "Great." She smiled back. As her layered bangs bellowed in the breeze. We talked all the way home. I opened the door for Mandy and escorted her to the sunroom. Mandy got out her books and settled herself in the lounge chair. I went to the kitchen to fetch two water bottles and some of Moms Key Lime bars from the fridge. "I got some snacks..." I showed her the plate of bars. "Thanks. OK Im ready..." she scooted the book towards me. ~~~[No POV]~~~ Demi took a small bite of a Key Lime bar. "UH! Shes here?!?!" "Who?" Selena asked rummaging through the fridge for a juice pouch. "That Amanda girl..." Demi grunted. "So... That's the girl who was kissing my Boyfriend!!! Weren't you paying any attention at lunch?" Demi yelled slamming down her water bottle. "Of course I was... But Demi you have to realize, it wasn't real kiss.. Just a peck on the cheek, nothing big and dramatic, it was all a big misunderstanding. No need to get in a fuss." Selena calmly explained. "Why are you taking her side?! Im your sister!" Demi stood in frustration. "Im not Dem... All Im saying..." Selena paused. She glanced at Nick and then at Demi. She exhaled. "I think that, Amanda is over it." Selena kept her eyes out the window. "Shes really sorry, she apologized at lunch a like a billion times, cant you give her a chance now that shes moved on..." Selena gave Demi the puppy dog eyes. Demi rolled her eyes, "Oh Fine." Demi gave a slim smile. Wiat, what do you mean shes moved on?" Demi asked still facing her sister. Selena nodded toward the window. Demi slowly pivoted herself to face the window. Nick was smiling and giggling, and was sitting fairly close to Mandy. Mandy was nodding as Nick explained something to her, and she continued to smile and laugh along with Nick. "Wow I havent Nick smile since, ever..." Selena huffed. "I know right?" Demi added. Demi and Selena giggled and headed upstairs to finish their homework. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so... are Mandy and Nick a thing?
