She knelt down and placed a bouquet of roses on his grave, his favorite flower. Kailey stood and wiped her eyes. I put my arm around her. "How long has it been...since he passed?" Melissa grabbed a chunk of my hair and tugged on it, giggling. I looked up at her and smiled. She put her thumb in her mouth and rested her head on my vacant shoulder. Kailey lifted her head and smiled. I looked over at Kailey. She sighed. "We should go," She mumbled. I nodded, handing Melissa to her. Kailey started towards the car, but I stayed back.
